In response to popular demand, Libby is now offering 1 ½ hour
lecture/demo classes. These entertaining but highly informative classes
are a mix of live demo and PowerPoint presentations. Students get all
the info without having to bring anything but a pen and paper. What a
fun and easy way to learn!
FEE INFORMATION FOR 1.5 HOUR LECTURE/DEMO CLASSES (Can accommodate up to 50 students in these classes).
$500 for one Lecture/Demo class
$725 for two classes on same day
$1,000 for three classes on same day

This class is a must for anyone who is beginning
to explore machine embroidery. Learn all about the right needle for the
right project, the
good, bad and ugly about decorative threads, how to pick the right stabilizer,
and much more.
THREADPLAY TIPS AND TECHNIQUES
Libby has been playing with thread for
over 20 years. In this class you’ll get an overview of her favorite techniques as well as things
she wishes she’d known when she started. Starting with the basics
of needles and threads, Libby will then cover sheer ribbon illusions,
potluck appliqué, and other stitching styles.

Is your stuff a mess? Libby will show you how she keeps things
straight and still manages to be creative. Take a peek into her
workspace as well as those of other quilters. Tips include organizing
your studio, your record keeping, and packing under
the
weight limit.

I love threads! If you share my passion, you will delight in this look
at the best threadplayers in the world today. From modest cotton
to showy metallics, threads are everywhere in these masterpiece quilts.
Creativity for Klutzes
If you've ever stared at your design wall, clueless as to your next
move, this lecture is for you. We'll explore the creative process,
see wonderful quilts and what inspired them, and learn the Quilters'
ABCs of Creativity. You'll go home energized and ready to make quilts!
